About The Mission

I am a crafter who loves crochet and cross stitch.  I also collect mermaids. So when I found the Nouveau Mermaid Series I fell in love with the art.

Originally this is artwork by Selina Fenech.  Beautiful right?  Well,  Heaven and Earth Designs turned the beautiful artwork into a cross stitch pattern.  I have wanted to make these ever since I first saw them, which was years ago.

I finally got the pattern!  And what a pattern it is.  It is not for the faint of heart,  there are A LOT of colors used and A LOT of stitches.  So months after finally getting the pattern I have started to gather the supplies and gear up for the biggest cross stitch project I have ever done.

My Mission? To track the progress and share my work and experience with it.  As well as to show real life examples of these beautiful works of art represented in cross stitch.  I hope you enjoy it!
